is it me or did Trump just get ignored by the press last night?

I don’t watch the news but it feels like they put this shit on page 9 in the corner of the paper.. lol

He lost his spark. His hits aren't hitting anymore.

I watched a little bit of it last night. He was just droning on and on. Boring everyone to death.
Eventually, CNN just cut him off and went to a split screen. Even they know they can't cash in on this.

like, even Fox News got bored and turned away from his speech.

that, to me, speaks volumes. to me, that's the conservative base basically turning their back on him.

now, he's got FANS so i hope he sticks around to split the party, and since Trump rarely does what's good for anyone but himself, he likely will hang around even if people want him to go away.

But I think they will have to get back online with him in the end

i think he has so many backers that, in one way or another, they'll HAVE to welcome him back (really to welcome back his followers, obviously) just to have any shot at winning anything.

I'm hoping his narcissism doesn't allow him to unite the party if, say, desantis wins the nom for 2024 and he runs on a 3rd party ticket, splits the vote, and destroys the party. Fuck 'em all.

I think others have mentioned it too, it's obviously not a unique wish or desire among people like us. But yea somehow I didn't realize that an example of such a thought was literally directly above my post. My bad man.
