which explains why reddit is currently embroiled in an open rebellion and the ceo is attacking the moderators as the 'aristocracy'.
imagine watching twitter implode, destroy its own business model, chase away blue chip advertisers and popular content creators...and deciding you wanna replicate that in any way.
twitter had finally turned (increasingly) profitable for 2 straight years *before* musk took over and killed 2/3 of its advertising revenue (where it makes about 90% of its money). why not replicate *that*?
