like the hippies became the reagan republican baby boomers...and now the maga base.
sanders supporters becoming maga and alt right.
but the conservatives that become dems are typically moderate...especially on social issues.
college educated romney/mccain republicans strengthening dem gains in the suburbs.
it prolly boils down to anti-establishment/government/institution sentiment in some way.
