you be disappointed in 2 artists that decided to lose weight if it was for a legitimate reason, as opposed to the pressures of fame/media/etc ?

It's pretty well-documented that Adele's weight loss had more to do with developing an exercise routine to help with her chronic back pain and anxiety:

I've been diagnosed with clinical depression, and regular exercise is one of the things that helps me cope. I took up running during COVID lockdowns because I didn't have many other outlets, and it became a 2x a week habit that resulted in nearly 40 lbs of weight loss. That was never my intention, but I'm definitely happy that I feel physically fit going into my 40s. I literally was in bed after work yesterday with a depressive episode, and anxiety, creeping in hard. I forced myself to go for a run and immediately was able to process my thoughts in a way that brought me back to a healthy baseline.

There are more reasons for fitness plans (and subsequent weight loss) than just giving in to societal pressure.
