It's completely cool if we disagree on our interpretation of the matter. It's not the end of the world.

Perhaps this is too jaded an outlook on my part, but I don't hold rappers to having to live their raps/bars in real life anymore. That goes for hardcore or conscious folks. As long as I like the music in the moment, that's all I take from artists at this point.

The whole drama with Kweli going so hard he had to get banned from twitter and seeing Freddie Gibbs get humbled in Buffalo months ago made me come to that realization; art is just art and the persona a majority of rappers portray isn't 100% real. It's not the end of the word if that's the case, at least in my eyes.
