Black people are not a monolith and there are plenty of black folks who are underserved in art and in media.

I appreciate that I can go to a show like this and not have to expect or want slapstick shit. There's layers to this shit that go beyond just "was it funny enough".

We do that with too much shit and miss out on stuff.
