is four to six original combatants. BUT if a couple of those couples were cruising with friends/family, then once the original fight pops off there could have been others jumping in. Then when you have a big fight with 10-20 folks involved, the spectators are gonna be kinda wild, with everyone already drunk on the ship. A spectator gets shoved, and an unrelated fight ensues. Multiply this out a few other times and you have dozens of fighters.

The fact this jumped off at 6 in the morning and there was THAT many people ready to turn up also kills me.
I'm not surprised, THE drunkest group of human beings I ever remember seeing was on a cruise ship back in high school
