Because at the time it was so blatantly a re-run of A Milli, which may very well be the best rap song ever made don't @ me, that I was immediately disappointed by it (even if the "real G's move in silence like lasagna" line immediately entered the dumb and drunk meme lexicon) and spent years wondering why people slightly younger than me would ever gravitate towards the inferior sequel (I realize now the beat is simply far more accessible)
