NOT cut it in terms of flavor. I used to use the Keurig all the time when I'd be adding cream/sugar but for black coffee there is a noticeable difference to brewing full pots. I don't use a french press or pour over or anything big like come coffee enthusiasts, just a regular Cuisinart coffee maker. I don't get any rale/special kinds of coffee - typically either Gevalia from the grocery store or I order the Amazon brand as well. Either way, much more of a rich, bold taste than anything I could get from my Keurig.
