Your rhetoric is disingenuous at best. We're not looking for a savior. We're looking for someone who will do the hard work. She is more qualified than most in my experience.

Why do you think she can't win. It's not because she's not likable to anyone. It's because she's been marked by power as a threat. Anyone we would choose would get the same treatment if they raise they're profile enough. Individuals like her don't grow on trees that will take the slings and arrows.
