No. It sounds like you’ve conflated AS’ empty, overly simplistic, fake deep “pro humanity” comment with “humanist”, which do generally seem to swing left, and arrived at your own empty, overly simplistic take .

And his outrage over this selection, particularly her (general) stance on trans issues, is in no way humanist.
