and only start solving the words after that.

so e.g. I'll try to use up all the vowels and a bunch of common consonants that don't overlap in the first 4 guesses and usually end up with mulitple yellow or green in each square.

So for example I might do 'dream' or 'speak' then 'hoist' then some word that uses u or y. Once all the vowels are in play I find it easier to solve the whole board.

The old way I used to do it is
- start with a couple different words
- find the square that has the most hits, try to solve that in succession, then move on to the other squares

The problem I'd run into in the old way is if I have LI_EN (all green), the '_' could be multiple different letters -- n,k,v -- I'd end up burning several guesses that just add 1 new letter to the board.

The new way, I don't try to solve that word right away and use other words that contain n or k and maybe get some hits in other squares as well, if that makes sense.
