13452440, okay Posted by Crash Bandacoot, Mon Jan-24-22 01:18 PM
wasn't familiar with it. im assuming the staff would have to gather all of the thrown objects dispersed everywhere. why not just have people put them into a box. seems kinda dirty.

13452453, its prolly fun to throw stuff onto the ice without getting in trouble Posted by legsdiamond, Mon Jan-24-22 04:29 PM
I think Hershey had 45,000 bears last time they did it.
I bet they wouldn’t get 5,000 if they asked people to bring them to the game and toss them in a box by the entrance

there's other history of throwing stuff on ice in the sport, hats for a hat trick, there was some reason a certain team threw octopuses on the rink but I can't remember why. but its in that vein.

13452484, the octopus shit is weird af. What if they get shut out? Posted by legsdiamond, Tue Jan-25-22 01:05 PM
You just sit there all game with a stinking as octopus?
Do you take it home or chuck it in the trash on the way out?
did some research and found out it was first done before a series to represent 8 wins needed for the cup. Still weird as hell.
