Are they though? Spinnabenz, Foolio and other rappers in that realm have lost bookings/missed money making opportunities based on the controversy surrounding them
DaBaby shooting someone at Walmart wasn't exactly some dark secret, it was well known and he would talk about it openly in songs/interviews, if anything it probably helped his reputation and rap career
