I think I said in the last post about this recall, it would have to be someone like Arnold, who's a celebrity and can run as pro-choice, pro-environment, yet pro-business and somewhat fiscally conservative. And there's no major Republican with name recognition like that out here. Faulconer comes closest on the position side, but he's barely making a dent in this circus (he's polling at like 5 or 6% in the recall). And if he can't even get a fifth of the support of Larry Elder, I doubt people are going to put money behind him in 2022.
