https://twitter.com/Morgan_Rynor/status/1430021079016247311 ----- Monday night recall data: 1,076,724 ballots returned. Here is the party affiliation breakdown from @paulmitche11: Dem: 604,981 Ind/other: 236,002 Rep: 236,038. 5% of potential ballots have been returned so far. Majority are white voters (737,655 to be exact) -----
dems actually increasing their vote share as time goes on. they make up 47% of the states voters but have increased to 56% of the ballots returned. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/E9ht3VlWEAQmE5G?format=png&name=900x900
i might as well stop posting updates unless something dramatically changes the dynamics.
this thing might turn out to be one big collective yawn.
i cant find the tweet but i saw a stat that dems could shed over 38% of their vote share from newsoms first election in 2018...and still win by an outright majority (50% + 1).
if/when newsom pulls this thing off...dems need to immediately start gathering signatures to put a constitutional amendment on a future ballot to blow this silly ass recall law to smithereens.
