Monday night recall data: 1,076,724 ballots returned.
Here is the party affiliation breakdown from @paulmitche11:
Dem: 604,981
Ind/other: 236,002
Rep: 236,038.
5% of potential ballots have been returned so far.
Majority are white voters (737,655 to be exact)

dems actually increasing their vote share as time goes on. they make up 47% of the states voters but have increased to 56% of the ballots returned.

i might as well stop posting updates unless something dramatically changes the dynamics.

this thing might turn out to be one big collective yawn.

i cant find the tweet but i saw a stat that dems could shed over 38% of their vote share from newsoms first election in 2018...and still win by an outright majority (50% + 1).

if/when newsom pulls this thing off...dems need to immediately start gathering signatures to put a constitutional amendment on a future ballot to blow this silly ass recall law to smithereens.
