I think todays hip-hop is culturally accepting of everything. Look at how Kanye is still sort of revered even after revealing mental health issues. Prior decades people would have seen him as soft even before the ax's and talking about the mental health. And we also have the new era with Drake (lol), Frank Ocean, Tyler..all with sexually ambiguous reps etc. Todays hip hop is accepting and that shit Baby said was some archaic deplorable shit that isn't gonna fly today.
