The guy goes to space and returns to re-start the 8th century.
It sucks that time is, apparently, not real. But if I'm going to be cruelly dominated by some insane warlord and treasure-hoarder, I'd rather have the honesty of the original Charlemagne and not this short, bald, extremely divorced version.
