i nearly bought a Transonic... but those bikes, any aero bike, is meant to be ridden on flats with a high spin rate. you mentioned you like climbing in OKS, same with me, and those aero bikes weren't designed for out-of-the-saddle mashing. obviously they can handle it, but i think you should go for a race-frame style. especially if you wanna start knockin out centuries. if you train in hilly subdivisions and then increase the mileage, you'll find your century easier. im not sure i ever want to endure one of those monsters again.

i set a goal of 3500 miles this year. only at 366 LOL... ugh. pathetic. cycling is strange you are either knee deep in it or not even close. no in between. good luck on your century!
