I'm in Honolulu w/my sister and its just theeeee most amazingly beautiful place..
like not just the scenery but the people..the "Aloha spirit", the abundance of amazing local food spots
watching surfers surf (first time ever seeing that live)...the warm breeze no matter how hot it is
the polynesian culture..the Hawai'ian language
i'm in love with this state..i don't want to leave.

Islands are tough man. I just spent our lost year in PR. I LOVE the place, and honestly, I'm pretty sure I'm going back in Oct, and if I can swing it I will spend as many, non-hurricane seasons there as possible for the rest of my life.
but the limited resources, Island Time, Produce issues (being from cali has REALLY fucked up my expectations in terms of freshness and variety of local produce)
Anywho.... Do it big, stay there as long as you can, fam.
