Kanye’s fan base is still massive, but he doesn’t reciprocate the love of that fan base.
The fans give Kanye undying support and consistent benefit of the doubt
and
Kanye gives the fans $300 shoes and unfinished albums every 2 years
His fans get picked on because they behave like suckers. And I’ll admit that at times I’m one of the suckers - I’ve never bought the shoes, but I’m still always going to be excited for a new Kanye project (even if the excitement is fleeting)
