I think all "new" things must contain an air of familiarity

I think the warp tour rap of the new generation is definitely a "new vein". Whether you like it or not is something else but you have emo-rap now so far along that it can reach back to emo-rock for vocal styles and cues.
I do wish we would see a sonic leap forward though. I am not sure where it would come from but I'd love to see sonics just be revolutionized.
