Today we are exhausted after full integration. Slavery is over. Crack has been dismantled. Police still killing people but at least now everyone knows etc
Red summer was just a little over 100 yrs ago. Tulsa was burned to the ground...just a little over a 100 yrs ago. Lynching was an epidemic. Segregation was in full swing. The Klan was active everywhere. Etc
You get to be..."tired" because your ancestors...could not be.
