that was not mine? It was a personal check deposit and I could see the copy of the check on the website. I could see that it was from someone I didn't know. Plus I know that there is another woman with my full name in this metro area (because of taxes, and job interviews, and the fact that we go to the same salon...etc.). Well, apparently we bank at the same place too!

I called the bank and it took me 2.5 hours to convince them that it was not my money!! They transferred me several times and were all "Ms. SuiteLady are you SURE you didn't make a deposit at the Baldwin branch????"

If you're an investigative/news journalist, it makes sense to ask probing questions.

If he were a cop or an actual investigative journalist, I'd understand those questions.

I know that's what a lot of views are there to watch/hear but sometimes he just seems to go out his way to skip important info to just rush to the dirt, the beef, the negative incidents an artist has and usually he "ALWAYS" say it was cause another artist he interviewed said this or that and is it true type questions.

If you frame it as, "what's wrong with an interviewer asking those questions", then sure, it sounds unreasonable to take someone to task for asking the questions they ask.

Because that framing puts everyone in a vacuum, and doesn't take the context of those questions into consideration.

I don't like the notion of saying we know what someone is thinking, or even knows, but I think that it's a fair assumption to say that he knows he's putting people in a vulnerable place while extending a purportedly friendly hand.

I think Vlad knows he's putting people in vulnerable situations, but he's doing it in a way that subverts his actual role. He's trying to be part of the hip hop community, but is doing so in a way that's putting members of the hip hop community at risk by presenting himself as something of a friend while getting them to put their business out there.

So it's not as though he's this hard hitting reporter outside the community, simply doing his job by digging at the truth, wherever it leads.

but if he gets interviews and people answer these questions its not his fault.

Obviously these artist think his platform is worthy of attention.

I.e, if people don't know how to shut the fuck up and put their business out there, that's on them.

That doesn't make the fact that he's asking those kinds of questions- within the context I noted above- any less dirty on his part. He's still a scumbag for asking those kinds of questions within that context, IMO.

interviews. If I'm watching a Big U interview, i don't need to see a clip of every other interview you did every time he brings something up that reminds you of it. It's cool once in a while but sometimes's kinda comical with how much he does it.

that said, all i ever see online is people shitting on this guy, and I don't really get all the hate. I enjoy watching his videos as youtube background noise. He gets some cool guests.
