As someone who has lived in Baltimore and currently lives in New Orleans. Royal Farms is good but it is not in the same class as real Popeyes. I am sorry that people outside of Louisiana are getting substandard Popeyes. The Popeyes stores in New Orleans are great. If you don't like Popeyes at home, I would advise you to get some when you are in New Orleans and see how different it is. I don't know why it is substandard in other spots but it is great here.

I lived down the street from a Royal Farms and have eaten a lot of their chicken over the years. It is good but it is not touching real Popeyes.
