You guys do know the performances were taped a whole ass week before the broadcast right? So literally every artist was in there watching their songs play and/or watching themselves perform.
It could simply have been a scheduling issue.
But IMO I think when it comes down to it. Jesse Collins and co wanted WAP to be the highlight of the joint performance and showcase new talent on that stage. If Beyonce would've come out in the middle of the set to do her verse and then disappear it would've taken away from it and they probably couldn't afford it either.
