What do you think of this map? Kind of cool but also weird. I kind of want to see them do a version of Western vs Eastern hemisphere.
At first I thought this was just the view from each pole but it looks like they did make some adjustments near the equator so you can see countries closer to it better. Continents/countries that ride the equator probably don't like it.
I guess we could use this one instead?

Or just stick to 3D versions of the globe.

Just to clarify, because your header reads like it's saying the Earth itself is portrayed as being flat.

its still interesting. theyre billing it as more accurate but like they say towards the end its at best an additional map that can be used along with the rest of them. its not really a replacement for the standard.
