I like it for what it is, warts and all. I just started season 2. My favorite characters so far are Glimmer and Swift Wind. I love that there are all kinds of girls and women show that they can be:

warriors/fighters
heroes
brave
villians
intelligent
stupid
kind
friends
in relationship
loyal
ethical
virtuous
fallen
evil
etc

However you are a girl or a woman, is accepted in this show's universe--shape, size, body type, orientation, interests, family background etc.

I especially like how pretty some of the powers and clothes and hair are! The glitter, shimmer, glimmer, and colors totally lured me in! Glimmer's outfits and hair are so amazing to me!

I love the technology angle of the show, too.

Adora/She-Ra is a little annoying to me. But. I let it go, for the most part. Whenever Adora changes into She-Ra, I think how much better it would be if She-Ra had ginormous 4c hair.

It's refreshing to see girls and women taking the journey and having experiences that seem to be male-centric in the world of the superhero imaginary.
