We:
unplugged for 6 days
Hit up a Hot Springs Resort
tried to hike but it turned into some horror movie shit so fuck that..
shopped local in Asheville
Cooked damn near all our meals.. steak, lobster, etc..
drank and smoked the finest
and barely had contact with the outside world

took a few days to let go of the worry of work but it was liberating.

I advise anyone who is thinking of the typical vacation to rethink it and try something like this. Now we are looking for an island adventure in SC or NC where its beaches but no TV. I know its easy to say you can just not look at your phone but we are married to these devices. Having a break really made me appreciate the little things.

Asheville is weird af too but in a good way. Its artsy fartsy as hell but we were kinda shocked at how hard they go for Black Lives Matter. Every business made sure you knew where they stood on that issue. You rarely saw a store without it. Almost felt like it was a law among the merchants in town.
