Anecdotal observation, but are kids with nannies more rebellious because they have someone doting on them all day? Or are the kids already rebellious and need a nanny?

All my friends with in home nannies have kids who act like complete jerks, especially towards the parents. If there are nanny pods or other kids, the behavior isn't so bad.

I had an African nanny from 0-6 months. Then I put the kid in daycare. Behavior was never an issue. I hired another as needed nanny when my kid turned 4. The nanny was a black ass, around the way woman who didn't take no mess.

I just find the whole care-taking and disciplining of the child to be a delicate balance in those early years.
