like he got HER out the way.
she sounds so shrill on this joint; her voice is low-key IRRITATING to me on THIS particular duet, yet no other female vocalist at that time could have provided the right balance.
I'm down to be wrong tho

It’s crazy to me that this was after fire & desire. Yeah, I’m listening now and you might be right. Happy sounds more on the rails than f&d to me. And that’s probably cuz of someone saying something after F&D.
I love both songs and always have even tho F&D got played way more around me.
