when a woman gets married or divorced and chooses to change their last name? By "process" I mean all the stuff and places where they will need to change their name legally and professionally.

My boss was talking disapprovingly about some of the women at my job who recently got married and didn't change their last name to the new husbands (professionally at least). I was like "changing your name when you get married late in life is a HEADACHE." Then I saw the Ellen Page/Elliot Page thing and I was thinking... that must be a headache too, huh? But I guess it is more worth the trouble in that situation.
