The way I would look at it (personally, no shot at you) if I worked somewhere that required it, is that it takes no time at all and doesn't have any adverse impact on my life or day to day. So that being the case, if it's something that would make some of my co-workers, clients, colleagues @ other companies I communicate, etc. feel more comfortable and included I'd have no problem doing it. No harm no foul.
