Not sure honestly. I feel eager to nurture my child. I'm excited about the responsibilities and possibilities that come with it. So mentally, yes I feel ready.

My wife and I are in good financial shape, we have savings, we have decent jobs, we have education, we have family, and we both want o be parents.

I feel ready, but who knows how ready one will be. My biggest worry is what happens if we have a severely ill child, the hardships and stress that may come from that.

In terms of prep, not much as of yet aside from the savings, once we get over the 3 month hump, we will start more planning.
