never really heard them tell stories but was def more white back then.

and even in the 90s you had people break off by race to a degree but also were all cool for the most part.
Venice was similar but a little more fuck you towards people not from Venice. The first time i ditched school and went to pick up my boy from Samo i was kinda mind blown by the vibe.

even among white people at Samo you had the north of montana and south of montana kids kinda separating by class. The south ones usually more comfortable hanging out. idk where stephen lived but he comes off as your basic little bitter libertarian kid who had some bad experiences and ran with them, clinging to whatever he could to feel special. in this case his whiteness or self-perceived intellect.
