But yeah by the 90s Samo was less divided than a lot of other schools when they partied, 100% agree. And the chill white dudes that were comfortable in their own skin were cool with everybody. Clicks were usually not made based on race.

But the way it sounds, stephen was that kid not going to parties and not comfortable in his own skin. Sounds like he was reactionarily afraid of being at a school that had more students of color.
