how I learned this: someone didn't know "Nancy" was one of these words, and tweeted a screen shot. it was retweeted to me and I fell out laughing.
(but it begs the question: as that the last name of J dot Anus's pseudonym was "Wilde", was this whole thing done on purpose? if so, he is a genius)
