no one "moved goalpoats" the goal has always been the same. slow the virus as much as possible and work towards a vaccine. Fauci and the CDC are working within an administration that doesn't believe in science and is basically hostile towards them (same can be said for the senate). it's a unique and fucked up situation.

the mask "filp flop" has been explained ad nauseum by Fauci and people in this post. it's a painfully simple explanation that you refuse to accept.

then you (admittedly) dropped false stats on the death rate. Never mind that we are doing worse than every country on earth, and the countries who have fared so much better just happened to take mask wearing and social distancing seriously.

but you want to tell yourself a story that everyone's opinion on covid is driven by partisan politics and your're the voice of reason asking the tough questions to drive discussion, or vague references on how "they" want us to live in fear.
