They didn't recommends mask back then because 1)They didn't *know* that's how it spread and 2)They wanted to make sure the hospital workers had enough masks.

They never said "Wearing a mask is wrong and stupid and gives you the disease so never never ever ever never wear a mask!!"

Turns out the learnt some new shit and change the recommendations.

Trumps guidance was "It'll disappear in the summer."

And why are we wearing a mask and waiting for the vaccine??

1)Because masks have been shown to help.

2)It's wait for the vaccine or hope that herd immunity would work. (Also giving the disease to ^ billion people on the planet would lead to at LEAST 10 millions deaths (1% death rate.)

What's you idea then? Please tell us how you'd handle it. (And if you change your mind we're DAMN SURE going to call you a flip flopper.)

Or did you just want to question the motives of everyone and then have us say "Wow bro, you are totally right. Where can I like and subscribe??"

(Even after the vaccine it'll keep spreading for some time - stopping wearing masks and social distancing will ramp down - not go away over night.)

As for overwhelming the system, just wait until school starts before the vaccine. We'll be overwhelmed soon.
