we had all these rules that we only half followed and thought we had everything figured out.
Its all the reason a lot of folks failed at trying to make it in the biz back then.
Even in Skillz crew he had issues with people who didn’t want to listen to his advice on how to navigate the biz.
More than likely there was a fear of you being discovered or finding another producer who would snatch you up or just thinking a dude could hook you with promises of fame.
