I remember he always walked around with his album around campus or at open mics.

Plan 9 was my shit!!! Used to live in there. Pretty sure they were the first record shop that let you listen to an album before buying it. If they didn’t have an open copy they would just open the CD or record and let you go to the listening station and chill with it. No pressure to buy it.

I had the same type of relationships when I lived in Richmond. It was real easy to get “stuck” to someone creative and spend way too much time with them and lose yourself.

It was a dope time though. Loved that city and made lifelong friends. Also met
my wife there as well. We went back to Richmond a few years ago and almost got lost on campus..

where is Community Pride!! lol
