...when the "real" story is dipshit admitting that he slowed down the COVID testing in the middle of a pandemic so that "the country" (by which he means "Me") doesn't look bad.
The White House is trying to explain away the low attendance, and they'll very much make sure it doesn't happen again. They can't really explain away the remarks, beyond the lame "Um... he was joking?" excuse.
