Any attempt to get his side of the story out there will either come from surrogates or people with no connection to him that just want to push an agenda (i.e. Candace Owens talking about Floyd "was no saint").

I don't know if the stories were orchestrated by the defendants or if people just made shit up, but I remember the memes about Trayvon Martin that tried to hammer home how big he was by claiming pics of The Game were actually Trayvon... or when they said Michael Brown crushed the officer's orbital bone during the fight before being shot... come to find out that you couldn't see any sign of trauma on the officer's face from the picture taking that night.
