Shot and killed outside of a bar run by a known Trump Truther / anti-LGBTQ / anti-PoC "libertarian". He had posted about having to do a "military-style" sit in at his bar just 3 hours before he shot this kid in the neck in the street and left him to die in a puddle of mud. This guy's been a known piece of shit in Omaha for nearly a decade and his bars have always had a reputation for...untoward sexual advances as well as, again, barring minorities from entry for "dress code violations".


I've seen a lot of pretty open discussion about attempting to burn the bar down this evening. State of Emergency in Omaha from 8pm-6am for 72 hours, national guard called in. All of this happening a block from where I work (somehow, despite nearly all of downtown Omaha's glass getting shattered last night, we scraped by without any damage or tagging).


This fucking YEAR, man! There's a protest at the Malcolm X House this afternoon hosted by the executives of the Malcolm X Foundation that the Chief of Police seems very supportive of, but we clearly have issues with rogue actors from out of state infiltrating these events...fingers fucking crossed man...
