Right before Super Tuesday he was all about staying in the race and going through with a brokered convention to stop Bernie who he straight up said was unelectable (even though he was very competitive right before Super Tuesday).

When he saw that Biden had won, then he like the others immediately dropped out to support the centrist option.
Edit: I do concede that Biden won super tuesday because more people chose him than Bernie. I was moreso trying to make a point that nearly every other democratic candidate did not want Bernie to win. And there was a concerted effort to select anyone but him by establishment dems
