1. Intro - Ribbon In the Sky (Ribbon In The Remix)

The beat switch up at 2:58. LAWD. And then they start to borrow from The Clark Sisters' "You Brought the Sunshine" at the 4.00 mark. Whew. R.I.P. Kenny Greene. NIGGA!

2. Mary J. Blige - Reminisce (Remix)

Blending in Pete Rock and C.L. Smooth's "T.R.O.Y." was brilliant. My favorite MJB remix aside from "Beautiful" with Black Star.

3. Jodeci - I'm Still Waiting (Swing Mob Remix) a.k.a. the music video version)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4xMuuRVQ10
The album cut was perfectly fine and is my favorite version buuuut I like this uptempo spin on the song, too.

4. Jose James - It's All Over Your Body (DJ Spinna Remix)

DJ Spinna really knows how to do a remix.

5. Kali Uchis - After The Storm (Pete Rock Remix) feat. Tyler, The Creator, Bootsy Collins
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVSnYb5Afgw
Not my favorite Pete Rock remix (that's a whole 'nother post) but I've been feeling it as of late...

6. Electric Wire Hustle - Again (Scratch 22 Remix)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LT2g2lpKm7c
I miss this group, especially the original lineup. I am forever grateful for "Waters," too.

7. Robert Glasper Experiment - The Consequences Of Jealousy (Georgia Anne Muldrow's Sassy Geemix with Me'Shell)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQXCGPEXmbY
Do you want to be put in a trance?!

8. New Edition - Crucial (Remix)

Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, y'all.

9. Kelela - LSDXOXO_TRUTH OR DARE_123 BPM

Blow her music off as LA Blipster shit, why don't you, but her music is jammin'. The album version of this song is fire in its own right, but the remix version gets me amped, too.

And low-key: "Savage." I was tired of the song by the time the remix dropped (Thanks, social media) and I don't even listen to Megan Thee Stallion but Beyonce's little "okays" throughout and her soulful adlibs at the 1.55 mark had me like okay...You are doing the most but I am here for it.
