I remember the local black music station playing it ONE time on a late night hip-hop show in VA. I think it's possible that I had never even heard the Isley Brother song before hearing it. I remember it being straight fire. But then never heard it again. I went to peaches records and of course they didn't have it. I spent years wondering if I had imagine the whole thing before I heard it again.

These kids have it made these days. I remember having to do all sorts of things (record late night radio shows) just for the off chance of being able to hear some hip-hop. One of the first things I did when Napster became a thing was look for this remix.
