Like I can see bonus points and/or docking points, that's fair. If someone has only ever written their own shit that's ultimately the point and they should get all deserved props. But to go as far as saying somebody doesn't even qualify as an MC bc someone helped them with some verses at some point? That's taking it too far imho. In part bc of how common it is.

Ya I hear you. I just brought it up bc it was the most recent post I could remember in which ghostwriting came up. But my ultimate point was just to say that the practice (or rumor of at one point participating in the practice) seems to hurt female artists a lot more than male artists.
