I have a strong family connection to his DeKalb Commission administration, and I can say he was truly hated.
He tried to make DeKalb CEO seem like more of a prestigious position than it was, and it was REAL tacky. I would see him show up to an elementary school ribbon-cutting with an entourage, and security.
