Dre doesn't need to be paired with Puff for the general public to be interested in it, obviously.

And again, their technical contributions aside, I just have no interest in hearing Dre's beats up against Puff's cotton candy 80s remakes. And hip hop head or not I think most people would agree once they started playing their respective beats/songs.
